Sea Kayak training 6 week course

The club is providing a 6 week training course delivered on Thursday evenings @ 18:30. The course is aimed at  helping you become a competent member of a group and able to confidently take part in the clubs moderate sea trips. The course will be run at a variety of locations to suit the development of different skills ranging from the estuary, along the North Devon coast and an opportunity to experience using a sea kayak in surf. Information about weather,tides and trip planning will also be provided.

There is a fee of £60.00 for the course if you have your own equipment or everything necessary can be provided for a total fee of £90.00.

For those who wish it, there is a Sea Kayak Award which can give you a certificate if you reach the standard! All the training is run by qualified volunteer leaders and this will set you up to develop your skills further as you participate in the clubs sea trips.
