Cardiff International Whitewater Centre

Some of the WW paddlers are heading for the artificial WW course at Cardiff on Sunday. The flows start gentle on 4 cumecs, then go up to 6. In the afternoon they go to 8cumecs and it’s quite lively. Costs are modest.

If you want to go you need your own boat and kit. Liaise with Andy Heal about times and transport. It’s usually an early start!

You need to be confident on class 2 white water. There are rescuers in place to help you out if needed. The cool thing is the conveyor belt system to take you and boat up to do it all again.
