Pool Sessions
Introduction
The club holds frequent pool sessions and is fortunate to have access to an indoor pool at West Buckland School. There are also further informal sessions organised at at Ilfracombe.
Pool sessions offer the opportunity to practice and learn skills in a comfortable and safe environment. The club generally has coaches or experienced paddlers on hand at the pool sessions who will be more than happy to offer coaching, guidance and feedback.
Sessions
During the winter season (October to April) the formal club sessions run every two weeks at West Buckland and additional sessions are available at Ilfracombe. In the summer, pool sessions tend to continue at West Buckland but on a less frequent basis. Details of future pool sessions can be found on the trip programme.

Please note that non-members are welcome to attend 2 pool sessions at a cost of £3 each prior to deciding whether to join the club. Subsequent sessions for non-members will be charged at a premium rate of £6.
Boats and Equipment
You are welcome to bring along your own boats and equipment however please ensure that it is all spotlessly clean else it will not be allowed in the pool.
It is possible to make use of club boats and equipment at the pool sessions however it is important that you get in touch in advance to arrange for appropriate equipment to be made available. Please note that it may be necessary for you to arrange to transport any borrowed club boats and/or equipment from the club store in Bideford to and from the pool session.
